On November 20th, 2020, RUNERGY Group and S.C signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on 30GW mono-crystalline PERC+ and 5GW HJT projects in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, with the aim of exploring extensive cooperation in the fields of mono-crystalline PERC+ and high-efficiency and super-efficiency HJT technology by leveraging their respective advantages in the PV industry.
S.C provides the core cell equipment and automation equipment for this project, and RUNERGY Group participates in the equipment development, technical communication, scheme design review, and application test and data feedback. S.C is responsible for the design and development of equipment, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, process support and other work. Through the cooperation in technology, process, equipment development and after-sales services, both Parties ensure that the project is technologically advanced in the solar cell industry, with the average efficiency of the PERC+ production line being higher than 24% and the average efficiency of HJT production line reaching 25%. Based on the premise of existing independent intellectual property rights, S.C achieves technological intellectual property breakthrough with customers on new processes and new equipment, and both Parties jointly research the patented technological achievements.
The signing of this project will definitely help promote the rapid development of the industry. As a leading company in the PV equipment industry, S.C has established a clear leading advantage in PERC cell equipment technology, and has made a breakthrough in PERC+ through in-depth cooperation with customers. In high-efficiency HJT cells, S.C has the ability to deliver the entire value chain of solar cell manufacturing equipment including RPD series and advanced PECVD. In particular, the RPD series equipment independently developed by S.C can bring a conservative efficiency gain of more than 0.6% for high-efficiency HJT on the basis of conventional HJT cells, which is the technology high point and key to cost reduction for large scale industrialization of high-efficiency and super-efficiency HJT cells without exceeding the operating cost of conventional HJT cells. At present, S.C has built up an echelon of products with conversion efficiencies of 23%-24%-25% , which can provide customized equipment solutions for the market and ensure the intellectual property foundation of all partners. As a star enterprise in the PV cell industry, RUNERGY Group has the advantages of high technical starting point, distinctive technical features and excellent operating costs.
